Even calls for forgiveness do not require niceness. Niceness is a trap.

You are allowed to be Christian and still be fully human. You be you, stay true to your self. Allow the same from others, so long as they are genuine. You don’t have to accept hypocrisy.

Christianity doesn’t require perfection, it requires a desire to spiritually evolve as much as you can in this life to be more like and closer to the divine. Somewhere along the way, the Christian faith as a whole missed and turned away from this salient point. Now all you ever hear is weaponized scripture to sling mud at people you don’t like. What a waste.
