The man is accused of commiting grievous crimes against the citizenry and the safety of the public sphere. He is not just some guy who's oddities weird personality quirks, or alternative lifestyle people have a hard time accepting because it's "other".

If you don't want to be called out for bullshit, then don't apologize for rape and trafficking or those accused of it. Leave it to the courts and stay out of it.
