Doubtful. The state doesn’t try to control the reproduction of men.
Let’s face it, they don’t have to. Broad strokes, men don’t take responsibility for their half of the reproductive process. They may take financial responsibility for a child, even begrudgingly or resentfully that results from an unplanned pregnancy, because doing so defines them as a man.
But they rarely act proactively to stop a pregnancy from happening completely of their own impetus without significant line in the sand boundaries and pressure from the woman.
