Don't have to do any twisting to make this a gender issue. It just is one.

I say again. Kanye did not have pornographic photos made without his consent distributed on the internet. Kanye did not have his talent called into question because he went to a grocery store. Kanye did not have his business acumen attacked when he threatened people.

Taylor, however, has asked that she not be used during the games, the NFL has done it anyway and profited off her being there and then filming.

You'd think if people wanted to make a moral issue out of it, they'd take it up with the NFL instead of attacking her, miaogynistically, as she clearly has no control over what they've chosen to do with her image.

It's the nature of the attacks that make this a gender issue and clear misogynistic rage directed at her.
