On the other hand, he's older and possibly is in dementia or Alzheimer's. The decline may stay his hand if he's thinking about it. In other words, his thinking may not longer be consistent enough to follow through.

On the other hand, that could make him much more erratic. Of course, he's got the secret service around him to keep him from hurting himself. But that doesn't mean he doesn't want to or isn't thinking about it, or won't attempt it.

Let's just say, if I had to be anywhere near him physically, I'd be practicing my dive rolls and keeping a close eye on his movements and the nearest exits. Narcissists in collapse often take others with them, one way or another.
