…ntroduced, no-fault divorce was invented, and women gained all manner of independence and choices — I can report that none of those swift and sweeping changes in society left me “struggling to find my place or purpose.” They left me with choices that I successfully and enthusiastically took advantage of, as so many other girls and women did. My life has been wonderful as a direct result of my freedoms and those changes in culture and social norms, and my ability to adapt and act.
