But so is seeking sex for thrills. Amongst males, particularly of that age, sex equals status. The more girls you've banged, the higher your status amongst your peers.

The more difficult the acquisition, the higher the "points" awarded.

This is what all media game culture, and PUA culture, and porn have taught boys. This is what the rest of society (across the board) has failed to protect them from or teach them differently.

Far more of them think this way than don't.

We've commodified sex completely. What were seeing is the direct result of that.
