Depending on your views ….not so much. “Home" is both toxic and dangerous for a lot of people. Ask any homosexual, transperson, Biracial (extended family), or liberal / atheist in a deeply conservative or religious area.

It’s true for some lucky ones. It’s not a universal truth. If it were, these (mostly) young people wouldn’t be using social media to find like minded people struggling with the same things to find their voice, figure out who they are, find a community, and find safety and companionship in that community.

They wouldn’t have to. True be doing it at home.
