Comparing the semester is not what being sexist means.

Sexist (Oxford Languages): characterized by or showing prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.

Saying "most women like to bake" is sexist because it stereotypes. It's also not remotely true. At best, its a 50/50 split.

Saying most women would choose the bear is not sexist because it does not discriminate men, it does not stereotype men, and it is not prejudicial against men.

Your opinions and feelings are not facts. I get that it's a painful realization for some men. That doesn't negate the fact that you're not being discriminated against, it's not a stereotype, and it's not prejudicial toward men.
