All one has to do to be considered a Christian is profess a belief in Jesus and claim to follow him. That's all.

Mormons ARE Christians, as are Universalists, Shakers, and Quakers. It doesn't matter if that makes you uncomfortable or if they have additional literature of different belief systems that don't align exactly with other Christians. So do Evangelicals, like the great commission.
