Celebrating our deaths from pregnancy complications when we dont have to die that way anymore is not a good way to celebrate mothers and motherhood, you think?

Somehow, I don't think the Spartans would agree. They would have wanted more healthy women having more healthy Spartan children.

I doubt they would have chosen a doomed clump of cells over a living, breathing person.

I doubt more, that they would have thought doing so was cause for celebration.
