But it very much does, otherwise it wouldn't be a point he keeps beinging up.

And here's that naivete again, about women's lives. He seems to believe that because he enjoys the female form and most men also do, that there is not also a constant constant droning negativity about the female gender from men.

There is.

Men are starting to get a dose of their own medicine on this. I'm not justifying it or making any sort of moral statement about it. I'm simply pointing out my observation of this trend, that men are now starting to get the other side of the objectification coin. And it's having consequences to their mental health via the erosion of their sense of self worth and self esteem.

Not gonna lie, I do feel somewhat vindicated over this. I don't want to because it's a little petty, but I have heard nonstop, my whole life, mostly from men, the the reason women steuggle so much with low self esteem and low self worth is because we're weak and men would never experience such things because they're strong.

See? It's not because we're weak, it's because 'othering', which objectification is, is a form of shunning and ostracization. And that hurts, because it's meant to.

Sucks, doesn't it?

But men like Simon want a pass from that without having to give up continuing to do it to women. Because it hurts HIS feelings. He's hurting and other men are hurting, so NOW it's a problem.
