You’re ignoring the fact that they’ve been pushing this agenda all along, even before the vaccine started having an effect.

Just because things look good now doesn’t mean it will stay that way. You didn’t address the variant issue which is one of the main concerns with seeing mask wearing through a little longer.

Mask wearing is not authoritarian. It’s a temporary health measure. It’s not onerous or unreasonable at all. By your logic wearing seatbelts is authoritarian too. As is wearing shoes, or any clothing requirement like pants instead of shorts.

You also ignored a lot of per capita factors that affected rates in different states. It’s almost impossible to make a balanced comparison fairly, so tritely attempting to do so is dismissive, problematic, and irresponsible.
