Blood of the convenant is thicker than water of the womb.

The sad reality is that not everyone is lucky enough to be born into a family that functions under a covenant of care, respect, reciprocity, and love.

But for those who don't....you can build or find your own as soon as you stop wasting time on folks who jerk you around by the nose just because you're related and they think they can and you can't do anything.

Regardless... I know it hurts. Rejection always does.
