Being a 'good' man doesn't make you a good companion. It will for a small selection of women, just as only a small selection of women will be a good companion for you. You have to admit, most of us can't be companions for very many people.

It's not the same as being friendly or civil, or amenable.

Looking for and all this hyper focus on finding a 'good' man or a 'good' woman is resulting in far too many people finding themselves unhappily married to poor life companions.
