Because there's choice involved here too. When you have businesses that can't find employees and and men sitting at home whining about how there's no jobs....

That's because men are refusing to work the jobs available to them.

Men voted for strong man politics instead of a social safety net. Wanted to stick it to "welfare queens" as I recall.

Their chosen strong man who made them feel so very good about being a man, then pulled the rug out from under them and sold all their manufacturing jobs overseas.

You'll forgive me, but my sympathy here is limited.

Men have three choices. Continue eating bullets because they don't feel like manly men anymore, whatever the hell that even means....

Or, get off the couch and start working toward more unionization, promote political candidates who will tax the wealthy and bring jobs they want to do back.....

Or, get over themselves and go get a job and earn a living without hinging someone else's definition what it means to be a man by criticizing how you putting food on the table. The important point here is that there's food on the fucking table.

What you don't get to do is tap out and refuse to play because life got hard and expect for women to coddle you through all life's difficulties ....especially the ones you had a hand in creating or WILL NOT work to correct.
