Because right now the bulk of providing and protecting, again referencinf the public Commons, is being done by women. Women are doing their job. Men aren't.

Except for police and fire, jobs held by men predominantly. But in the case of police, they're failing too by abusing positions of authority in many cases. Oftentimes they make situations worse, not better.

You're right that one gender doesn't need to arry more weight. That too, will lead to collapse of social bonds.
