Because it's not information. It's grievance. Women get punished more for certain things than men who do the same thing. As much as family courts penalize father's, the penalize mothers as well. All those awards are actually entrapping a lot of the time. Women can lose financially in divorce as well and now that wages are balancing out, that's happening more and more. Men can and do make false accusations against women as well that prevent promotions and jobs. Nothing happens to them either. I'll remind you that both Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavenaugh slandered and maligned Anita Hill and Cristine Blaisley-Ford respectively to get out of facing accountability for inappropriate behavior and they both got Supreme Court Appointments. That obsessive man you were talking about possibly killing you because he liked some girl is actually far more likely to kill her. Or, kidnap, rape, torture, and THEN kill her.

Everything you mentioned here 'others' have always faced. We are a violent species. What you're experiencing is a leveling of the playing field. You've just been spared that until recently because you've been somewhat protected and blind to it.

Welcome to reality. No one is safe. Anyone can harm. Anyone can be harmed. Violence is on the rise. No one is coming to save you. It's just you and your wits and whatever small circle of trust you can build for yourself. Someone will always be trying to infiltrate your circle and take advantage of you. It is dog eat dog and there are no heroes.
