Assuming your assessment is true, then in that same vein, a high body count for men should be seen as a red flag.
Men with a high body count are more likely to have an STD. More likely to have children with multiple women. More likely to cheat. Much less likely to commit. More likely to be lying about their intent, or just be manipulative liars in general. More likely to be selfish and tend toward narcissism. More likely to be bad in bed. And so forth and so on.
Yet, again, the high body count is prized, At least amongst men. Women tend to not think about it one way or the other. Frankly, the only reason they do so for themselves is because of slut shaming, the traditions around religious morals, etc. If it weren't part of the male lexicon, it's doubtful anyone would give it a thought at all. Certainly, in cultures not sullied at some point by Abrahamic faiths, they will laugh at you for bringing up these thoughts and they want no part of it. They reject it as outright nonsense.
So, there absolutely is a double standard here. But maybe, instead of trying to convince patriarchal forces of the error in their thinking, it would be more productive to hold men to the same standards women are held to. That might be fun. Maybe next time some dingaling asks me out, thumping his chest about his sexual prowess, I'm going to demand to know his body count and then act appropriately disgusted in accordance with the slut shaming women get.
