Are those paid sources? Does someone make a profit somewhere off that article you read?

Then I would advise you to categorize it as marketing propaganda and influence of consumerism and ignore it. It’s not true. Somebody’s trying to sell you something by manipulating your emotions.

Let me direct you back to comments. The vast majority of comments, like the ones in this article, are written by everyday people. People who go to work, pay their bills, raise their families, etc. Normal everyday people. They’re somebody you might strike up a conversation with at a ball game, at the water cooler, at the bus stop, at your kids' schools, at conferences, etc. They’re just stating their opinion and thoughts about a topic.

Because they’re regular people.

I don’t make any money off my comments here any more than the vast majority of readers who bother to comment. I’m not trying to sell you something. I’m not trying to manipulate your emotions. I’m a real woman. With a real life. Real hopes and dreams and desires that are VERY COMMON amongst my cohort.

To be treated fairly and respectfully. To be dealt with honestly and with integrity. To enjoy safety in public space. To not be badgered and harassed. To be seen as a human being worthy of respect and consideration; not just something to fuck that cleans up after you.

I’m just like the majority of real women. We’re not that different about the big stuff.

Again, I invite you to read the comments with an open heart and mind. Apply some of those critical thinking skills.

Ultimately, you’re going to choose who and what you want to believe. Whether that’s some paid piece tied in to ad revenue for a created industry centered around "building a better man" or any of millions of real women saying, "nah, just don’t lie to me. Be considerate and respectful. Don’t come at me like an entitled prick or like I’m supposed to be a discount on paid sexual services. Keep your promises. Etc." is up to you. Nobody can make that choice for you.

Just remember, your romantic overtures WILL be responded to based on what you put out there. So if what you’re doing isn’t yielding favorable results, common sense should tell you your source material is flawed. Otherwise, you would have a date. Millions of men do.

If only there was a different source. ...

Like, maybe.... the comments written by real women who are drawing you a very detailed roadmap??

Who knew? It’s perplexing.
