Another reason so many turn to witchcraft, Wicca, and animism pagan practices when leaving or rejecting Christianity (especially deconstructing) is those practices' focus on spiritual healing.

That right there, for me, is the most telling rebuke of evangelicalism. If literal biblicalism or fundamentalism is "the way, the truth, and the light" then why does it cause so much spiritual injury and harm in so many people? Life long wounds for many of them? Why do the "faithful' of extremist interpretations always end up committing, assisting, endorsing, or complying with atrocities?
