Another narrative that is sadly lacking is the parent narrative where you don't martyr yourself to motherhood or allow parenting to steamroll your life.

Tradwife is ridiculously extreme.

Some of us manage to parent and still maintain a measure of autonomy and self. We still get to do our thang too. Have hobbies. And purpose beyond folding laundry. And friends. And travel if we want; and its not excruciating.

We never hear enough from these folks either. When we do, the extremists fall all over themselves to shame these trailblazers too.

We should start carrying around Ex-Lax chews or those banana treats they leave out for racoons that have rabies vaccine in them. Then everytime one of these cretins opens their mouths we can just shove one or both of the treats in there so they'll be pacified and have their mouths too occupied to continue blathering their stupidity.
