And yet the societal contract and the integrity of the public Commons IS a collective responsibility.
It's never NOT been a collective responsibility.
When men take that stance that you just did, they're abdicating that responsibility. That's convenient.
It's not about the individual anecdotal stories, it's about the obvious trends and statistics. Those come about from individual stories and reports.
Misogyny is on the rise. Suicide is on the rise. Isolation and loneliness are in the rise. Marriage and having children are on decline.
You cannot deny that years of gaslighting like you just about the hazards women face dating or just going about their lives have not broken trust. What's happening in Christianity and in politics is breaking the Commons too.
And I will say it again. Increasingly, we're done with the double standard. We will not be accepting that bullshit anymore. So if men want help dealing with bad actors, they better be willing to do the same for once and stop the gaslighting.
It's not all men, but it's enough women.
