And yet, the fallen tree still exists.

And yet, just because YOU didn't hear the tree fall doesn't mean there was no sound. There were plenty of other lifeforms around to perceive it, either through sound, vibration, or other means.

You could be deaf and see a tree fall. You didn't hear the sound. Yet the tree exists and it still fell and it still creates sound.

Your failure to perceive it via sound, doesn't negate it's existence.

Your argument is inherently flawed and is and always has been a cop out, an excuse to keep from having to engage.

That's your choice. But your insistence on sticking your head in the sand every time you experience social discomfort doesn't erase all those opportunities you refused to see and engage with. They were there because they are for everyone.
