And yet "birthing persons" is dehumanizing to both women and Transmen, but pregnant persons is not.
"Birthing persons" reduces your personhood to a body part. "Pregnant persons" describes a temporary state, this is not describing the person as a function of their body.
Face it. This is NOT Transphobia. This is human rights. You can be inclusive without diminishing women and Transmen to do so.
The Trans community is wrong on this one. And since this fight is predominantly being led by Transwomen, and they can't get pregnant, maybe they should realize this would be onenod those times to listen to those who can. I believe is was a Transman who started the shift from "birthing person" to "pregnant person", which is OBVIOUSLY far more acceptable.
