However, I’m curious to know where were all the articles over the last few decades about women struggling with loneliness in their heterosexual marriages? Or how many women have been coerced or forced into sex by their partners because of patriarchal expectations that women should serve their husband’s “needs?” Or all the articles describing how dehumanizing and sometimes dangerous the default heterosexual marriage model has been for women?
