Fuel load had been established fact at least that long. But people don't want to hear it now. It's crazy.
Fuel load also doesn't mean that frequency of fires or where they start isn't affected by climate change. It just means theres more wood to burn once the fire starts.
Indigenous people used to do controlled burns periodically as part of taking care of their ecosystem. We stopped that so now the fires can't be contained easily.
