But it's curious, with philosphers, religious types, even the Greek stoics, why it always takes being stripped down raw and reduced to the meanest of circumstances by human violence to make these "profound" observations when truly loving a pet, walking in the world with your eyes open till you can feel the Earth's heartbeat in the palms of your hands, hugging a tree, standing in brotherhood and harmony with that circle of life would teach you the same thing.
The real question here is why are humans so terrified of standing in that circle, particularly those decendant from Abrahamic faith traditions?
