And/or a masochist. A slot of these women are deeply religious. If you talk to them long enough, they'll tell on themselves. They're miserable. They're depressed. They hate their lives. They resent their children. They're practically Buddhist with the "all of life is suffering" mentality but without the mindset to find beauty in suffering like a real Buddhist. They wish for their husbands to die as soon as possible so they can be left alone.

But still. The rules that lead them here are God's will and necessary to earn eternal life in heaven.

It's so sick.
