Just because some behavior or other thing has a gendered element doesn't mean it applies to all of that group.

For example, just because the gene for color blindness is carries on the X chromosome does not mean that everyone with an X chromosome will be for blind, that only men can be color blind, or that all men will be color blind.

It means the gene for color blindness is located on the X chromosome.
