And I wouldn't vote for Trump based on the same racial and gender reasons.

But.

That's not true of all women or all Black people.

Some people, regardless of their station in life, are nothing but self serving individuals. They're never going to be any different. They will not stick their necks out for someone else, even if they will be okay doing so. They will always choose to protect, maximize, and increase what they already have. Even if what they are getting are crumbs that they will pay for in other ways.

I've been shocked at the number of Black men of my acquaintance who are voting for Trump because he gave crumbs to them via a tax break and crumbs for Black colleges. Even though several of his other policies have been bad for the Black community and Black people.

But they don't see it. They're too self absorbed.

And neither do the women who vote for Trump. Also too self absorbed.

Groups within groups. People are always the same.
