Also a shame that many men, if they don't abscond from their kids' lives, go Gestapo mode and make their ex wives' and kids' lives a living hell. Lot of these families wish Dad would just go on bug out so they can get on with their lives rather than have to continue dealing with him.

Lot of people out there never should have gotten married and never should have had kids. You can't be selfish and self centered or it doesn't work. There are far too many kids growing up in dysfunctional homes.
