People who dislike "christians" do so because of having to deal with the in-your-face sort so often. That's their most common exposure. The quiet ones are rather invisible ( to non-believers), just living their lives and practicing their faith which is exactly how it should be. We know, logically, that they exist. But they may as well not due to all the noise of the unhinged radicals and extremists.
