Agree. Though, I like to think of the idea more like circles. Focus on your circle (family) until that circle is full (everything is squared away and thriving) and then extend your circle.

I feel like the idea about circles negates a lot of the societal shame because it makes it okay and natural for the circles to shrink and swell as need be.

You're not less of a parent because your kid is steugfking and you need to focus on that.

You're not less of a man or a woman because you're struggling, you're owed time and space to get squared away again. Shit happens and you have to deal.

It's just more organic thinking overall; less rigid and tied to status. Like life itself.

It prioritizes adaptability over positioning and flexing.
