Agree. The fact is, old women are invisible. They get performative help hoisted on them by their grandsons, nephews, etc., in order to teach young men how to be "chivalrous" towards young women.

But sans relationship, old women are unseen in public. They might as well not exist. Nobody is opening doors for them or helping them across the street.

On occasion they get harassed for being tonslow or being in the way.
