Agree. The biggest threat to a West coast nation will come from formerly red states.

My only other notes to the original article is that the Constitution should be redrafted to include advanced human rights for ALL citizens from the start. That will go so far in keeping the new nation of so many different people's harmonious from the start so it doesn't end up right back where the US is right now. Equality for all. Across the board. From the start.
