Agree. I think the girls who played with Barbies tend to grow up to be the ones who have shopping addictions and insecurities over their looks. The ones who didn't, or played with a wider variety of toys, are more well rounded, less hyper focused on gender performance and how they measure up or don't. A lot of girls kind of outgrow the Barbie hype too.
