Agree, except about being harsh toward the author. She's talented and insightful in a lot of ways but she's blinded by her own background a lot in certain subjects.

Motherhood being one. I wish she would read or listen to Germaine Greer's The Female Eunich. I think it might help her put her relationship with her own mother intonperspective and resolve some of that hurt. Again, I can relate. And I believe a lot of us raised under modern conservatism can relate.

We need to unpack that. Not add to it.
