No. Now you're putting words in my mouth.

I'm saying it's not the end all be all. It's nature AND nurture. One is not more influential than the other, overall.

I'm saying I recognize we make choices about our behavior. We are not slaves to our genes or our cultures.

I'm saying that in this instance, Republicans/Conservatives going anti-mask and anti-vaccine was a willful choice. You have to willfully choose to remain ignorant. You have to willfully choose to live in an echo chamber. You have to willfully choose to live in cognitive dissonance.

I'm saying this was a political choice. Nothing more. A choice to believe and act in a certain way over another way.
